Outlaw the Slap Shot:
At the 10-12 age bracket the players get to
take slap shots.  

Recommendation... Limit slap shots by both
forwards and defensemen to practices and
not during a game for at least their first
year of Peewee.

The likelihood of their slap shot getting to
the net let alone scoring is very minimal.

Continue to work the wrist shot and
backhands in the games and practise the
mechanics of the slap shot during practices.
